Homemade Almond Milk :)

Ingredients:
1 cup raw almonds
2-3 cups water (of you want it creamy add 2 cups)
2-4 medjool dates
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method:
1. Add the almonds and water into the blender and whizz together.
2. Strain you milk through a cheesecloth over a bowl. You can buy cheesecloth/mutton cloth at spotlight/fabric stores.
3. To sweeten, pour your almond milk back into blender and whizz through 2-4 dates.

You can flavour your milk by adding vanilla beans, cocoa powder, or cinnamon.

If you are wondering what to do with the left over pulp, check out my recipe for Almond, Date & Coconut Kisses or Almond Pulp Hummus.

I used Karen Knowler's recipe below, she kind of reminds me of a brunette and british Kendra! I love this recipe it is so nice and easy to follow.

Give it a try! Its so rich and creamy :)
