Amaze DB Baking Haul #1

Isn't Mr Gingerbread Man Cute?! I am want to eat him!
Today, most adults went to work after an awesome long weekend. Except for me and the other thousands of teachers and school kids out there. Apparently schools always have the Tuesday after Easter Monday off! Im not complaining, but this is the first I've heard of it!

So I slept in today, and woke up at 11.30 (ahhh dream life), and decided to make some Yo-yos (post coming soon). Then I realised I had to pick up some bongo drums for my Hawaian Group.

Got the drums from Pakuranga, then saw The Warehouse. Just went in for a sneak peak and came out with a few random things. Then I drove home, saw Sylvia Park and thought I'd go and check out some homeware shops... bad idea. I bought more stuff! I hate to admit, I really can be a bit of spender sometimes, but its mainly homeware (justifiable? lol).

So I have decided to blog about my hauls and share the interesting things I buy. Kind of like those make-up hauls the trendy beauty bloggers do on youtube, but maybe less annoying (im not being mean!).

All-righty then, lets get started!

First Baking Haul Post 02/04/13

Nice little bird's eye view for you.

Clockwise: Pink measuring cups $2.99 from The Warehouse, Glass Lolly Jars: Large $4.99 Small $3.99, Pink Heart Milk bottle $4.99 from The Homestore, Mini Bundt Pan from Stevens $29.99, Pipping bag $8.99 from The Homestore, and Meringue Nozzles $8.99 from The Homestore.

Thanks Mr Gingerbread Man for holding up my tea towels!

Clockwise (not including already mentioned goodies): Gingerbread Man Cake Stand $9.99 from The Warehouse (bargin!), Tea towel set $19.99 from Stevens, Wilton Sugar Sprinkles $8.00 from The Homestore, Large Jam Jar $4.99 from The Warehouse, and Mini Teddy Cookie Cutter $2.99 from The Homestore.

Great 10 liter containers for cupcakes etc. They were 20% off so $6.40 each! Bargin, considering the Sistema ones go for $30+

The Homestore Sylvia Park - in love!
I love this store!!! I could happy live there :)
To summarise here are the places I attacked and what I bought:

The Warehouse Pakuranga - Lolly Jars, Jam Jar, Plastic Containers.
The Warehouse Sylvia Park - Gingerbread Man Cake Stand, Pink Measuring Cups.
The Homestore Sylvia Park - Heart Milk Jar, Piping Bag, Meringue Nozzles, Sprinkles, Teddy Cutter.
Stevens Sylvia Park - Tea towels and Mini Bundt Pan.

As you might pick up I am a major bargin hunter, but every now and then I will spend a little more than I usually would, as I justify it to myself as 'an investment'.

Goodnight! I hope you enjoyed my first baking haul post!

Kim xx
